Who can join?
Papermakers of Victoria is open to anyone with an interest in paper, whether professional or non-professional, in any associated area, and at any level of expertise.
The group has members in all states and territories in Australia and several members in other countries.
The Benefits
-Assistance and advice are freely exchanged between members, who include bookbinders, printmakers, collage and fibre artists, calligraphers and paper conservators.
-The ‘Deckle Edge’, our newsletter, is one of the few Australian paper newsletters available.
-Discounted access to workshops.
-Access to monthly virtual artist talks.
-Access to monthly Zoom chats – a chance to ask questions, show your work etc.
-Access to Stables Studio – $10 per visit or unlimited by purchasing stables studio access.
-Access to our library of books, magazines and other publications on papermaking and related subjects.
-Opportunity to share your paperwork in member’s gallery.
-Opportunity to participate in biennial paper art exhibitions.
Meetings
These are our meetings and groups that our members have access to:
General Meetings
General Meetings are held at Box Hill Community Arts Centre six times a year with speakers, activities and show and tell.
Papermates
Papermates is a group of Papermakers of Victoria members who meet at The Stables, once a month on the second Monday to take part in hands on paper activities.
We plan a year of activities and different members of the group take responsibility to run the day.

Yabbers
Yabbers group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month in each other’s houses mostly towards the south of Melbourne, if you are interested in joining, please contact Gail on 0424 333 136.
