Discover the beauty of cyanotypes with a vibrant twist in this hands-on workshop.
Participants will begin by learning the fundamentals of this historic photographic process, preparing light-sensitive surfaces and composing designs using botanical and found objects.
Through UV exposure, participants will create stunning blueprints that capture natures intricate details.
Building on this foundation, the workshop introduces bleaching and toning techniques using natural dyes (this could include various teas and tannins).
Participants will also explore using spices, salts, bubbles, vinegar and other organic substances to transform the classic cyanotype into a spectrum of earthy and colourful hues.
