Coloured paper pulp can be used in many ways to produce imagery. Many years of experimentation and learning has led to a toolbox to create pictures, sculptural works and patterned papers for use in mixed media works.
Spend a day playing with coloured pulps to create several pulp pictures. Techniques covered include pouring, rubbing, stencilling, dipping and splashing. Also learn how to marble with paper pulp. Planning and composition will also be covered. Recycled pulps dyed with natural and synthetic colours will be provided.
There will be a materials fee of $10 each to cover pre prepared pulp and a materials list will be sent closer to the workshop date.
