This plant fibre papermaking workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with experience. We will cover the selection of plants for papermaking, preparation and cooking of plant fibres, and processing fibres by hand and machine. Participants will make sheets of paper from a range of plant pulps, including New Zealand flax, artichoke thistle, common reed, ginger lily and various grasses. Other plants may be added to the list, as they become available later in Spring.

Cancellation policy: If a participant withdraws their workshop registration within two weeks of the starting date of the workshop, there will be no refund unless a replacement can be found.
