Papermakers of Victoria

About us

beige-stripFormed in January 1989 by people whose common bond was

a love and understanding of paper as a medium in its own right.

We meet every 2 months at Box Hill Community Arts Centre Noon – 4pm

Papermakers of Victoria’s purpose is to:-

  • provide mutual support for hand paper makers and paper artists through the exchange of ideas and information
  • promote paper arts and crafts to a wider audience by a regular program of exhibitions and workshops
  • encourage appreciation of the processes involved in the production of quality handmade paper from diverse fibres
  • foster ongoing exploration and discussion of the possibilities of paper across the arts.
