'DESIGNING
THOUGHTS'
A not-to-be-missed opportunity.
Marianne Little
will lead lucky meeting attendees through
some exercises in composition/design.
Marianne is a qualified teacher and artist, and has
recently been teaching a design course.
This is a wonderful opportunity to open your mind to
the possibilities
for using design/composition in your work and take home
some samples to put in your personal 'ideas journal',
which I know you all keep.
You
will need to bring the following:
3b up to 6b pencil, felt pens, glue and/or glue stick,
scissors,
tweezers for handling and picking up small pieces of
paper,
some 10cm (approximately) squares of neutral paper from
white through grey to black, cream/neutral, plus one
highlight colour.
If you bring some spares they can be swapped to get
a greater range. We will be working small so don't overdo
it. You will be provided with the card to work on.
