We are priveledged to have Andrea Taylor as our speaker

Andrea Taylor Bittern by the Bug
A Sashiko and Boro inspired stitcher, tutor for 20 years, tutor of patchwork and Quilting for more than 30, and in recent years a speaker of Japanese textiles, Andrea Taylor has continued her love of all things Japanese by solo traveling in Kyushu and searching out different textiles which are not so well known outside of Japan. Over the years on her travels she has collected an array of textiles, old and new to share in her presentation. From various weaving techniques to indigo Dyeing she has experienced many workshops with wonderful experts in their fields in Japan and loves to share these experiences with others.
She hopes that she can share her love of these textiles and encourage others to travel outside their comfort zone too.
